Debbie Kimball wins the AQHA 5000 hour program

Our congratulations go out to Debbie Kimball from Hooper for being a winner in the AQHA 5000 hour riding program.  She accomplished this on her horse First Class Sox and was featured in the May issue of the AQHA publication, America's Horse.  This is a program sponsored by the AQHA where riders enroll and then log their hours horseback and receive awards for different levels of accomplishment.  Debbie has now achieved the highest level.

With the number of hours that she spends riding and working her horses it is no wonder that she is successful in several disciplines.  There are no pasture ornaments at her house!  Congratulations on a neat accomplishment!

Clients Qualify for Dressage Regional Championships

Congratulations to two of our clients who have qualified for the dressage regional championships to be held in Scottsdale Arizona on November 4-6, 2011.

Karen Rawson has qualified her horse, Made In America, in fourth level. Competing at this level takes years of consistent work and training and this is quite an honor. Karen qualified 4th level and ended up reserve champion.  What an exceptional accomplishment!

Mary Morgan has qualified on her young horse, Decopage, in the training level.  This horse has been coming along nicely over the last couple of years and the fruits of Mary's hard work are now paying off. Mary showed equally well and was the champion in the training level class!

Dressage draws a smaller group in our area but some very capable riders and trainers.

Our most sincere congratulations go out to them for such a great year!

Madison Ends up 5th in the Nation

Our sincere congratulations go out to 15 yr old Madison Bohman for her successful year of competition in reining.  Aboard AMR Dualin Renegade, she ended up 5th in the nation in the Novus non-pro Level 1 for youth ages 14-18!

Add to that the fact that she was the top money earner for the month of November.

Madison has become a tough competitor under the direction of Mac and Ashley Weaver, who train out of Morgan, Utah.

Lets see a repeat in 2012!

Amanda Harris Wins AQHYA World Title

Amanda Harris wins 2010 AQHYA World Reining Title

Amanda Harris has worked very hard with the help of Mack and Ashley Weaver (Weaver Performance Horses) to become a world class reiner.

She recently proved that she is, by winning the world title in reining at the American Quarter Horse Youth Association (AQHYA) world show held in Oklahoma City back in July 2010.  Up against the top youth in the country, she came out on top aboard her horse Chexouthisreminic!

Congratulations, Amanda, on this great honor!
